Itinerary

Day 01: Hanoi Arrival

Depart for Hanoi. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 02: Hanoi City Tour

This morning, you will take a half day Hanoi City Tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (a monumental edifice built to commemorate the Vietnamese Revolutionary leader), One Pillar Pagoda (one of Vietnam’s two most iconic temples), Temple of Literature (known as the first university of Vietnam) and Tran Quoc Pagoda (one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam).

Enjoy a walk around the Old Quarter in the afternoon and have a taste of Northern Vietnamese delicacies such as stuffed pancake, banh my, stuffed sticky rice balls, the unique egg coffee and many more.

Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Today, you will take a 3.5-hour transfer by bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay, “a spectacular seascape sculpted by nature” by UNESCO due to its breathtaking caves and limestone pillars sitting on the water. Upon arrival, you will board a ship to explore the stunning scenery with a myriad of mysterious caves of all shapes and sizes.

Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue

Awake early and join a Tai Chi session on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea before exploring nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong Bay from the sundeck. Your driver will meet you at the Halong jetty then we drive to Noi Bai Airport and get ready for a short flight to Hue. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 05: Hue

After breakfast, you will picked up from your hotel to the Imperial Citadel to visit Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Tripod Cauldrons, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace & the Forbidden Purple City. Afterwards, we board a boat for a wonderful trip on Perfume River, followed by a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda. In the afternoon, explore this city at your own pace.

Day 06: Hue – Hoi An

After breakfast, take a trip through Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. Stop en route at Marble Mountains to enjoy the panoramic view of Da Nang. Upon arrival, check in your hotel.

Day 07: Hoi An

Explore Hoi An’s bustling local market and other attractions with unique architecture such as Old Merchants’ House, a local Chinese Temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy a stroll along the peaceful Thu Bon River, one of the world’s famous trading port in the past. It will be an ideal day for you to learn about the fascinating stories and history of these ancient architectures.

Day 09: Hoi An – Nha Trang

Today, get ready for a short flight to Nha Trang, a famous beach city in Vietnam. On arrival in Nha Trang, you will be warmly greeted by our friendly tour guide then get transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore this vibrant seaside.

Day 10: Nha Trang

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cau Da Port then visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. Later, snorkel to see lots of colorful coral and fish and relax, swim or do some water sports on Mot Island, Tranh Beach Island or on a small island called “Mini Beach”. Have lunch on this island then visit a fishing village before going ashore and getting transferred back to your hotel.

Day 11: Nha Trang - Saigon

Get ready for a flight to Saigon. On arrival, you will meet up with our tour guide then get transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 12: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels

In the morning, take a brief Saigon tour to Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, War Remnant Museum and have fun shopping at Ben Thanh Market. In the afternoon, continue to Cu Chi Tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong during Vietnam-US war. The tunnel system had become legendary during the 1960s as a strategic military base and underground community life.

Day 13: Saigon – Mekong Delta

After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel in the morning and get transferred to Cai Be by road. Afterwards, hop on a boat at Phu An jetty and stop along the way for a glimpse of local handicrafts. Before arriving at Sa Dec, go ashore to visit a pottery factory. On arrival at Sa Dec, stroll around the local market then visit the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le. Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho. Later, pass the monkey bridges and tiny villages before going onshore to visit Cao Dai Temple and explore the surrounding countryside by bicycle or boat. Afterwards, head to Binh Thuy ancient house and the owner will welcome you by a candlelit dinner. After dinner, return to boat and continue your cruise towards Hau River.

Day 14: Mekong Delta - Saigon

Early wake up for a visit to the famous Cai Rang floating market which only operates from 5 am – 8 am every day. Later on, cruise towards Victoria Can Tho Resort and disembark at the private jetty before returning to your hotel in Saigon.

Day 15: Saigon – Siem Reap

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ho Chi Minh Airport for a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 16: Siem Reap – Angkor Complex

Early this morning, visit the breathtaking Angkor Wat. In the afternoon, journey to Angkor Thom, home to the Elephant Terrace, Bayon Temple, Terrace of Leper King and Ta Prohm.

Day 17: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

Take a 6-hour drive through the rice fields to Phnom Penh. On arrival, check in your hotel and take a rest.

Optional Tour Tonle Sap Lake

Hop on a private boat to Tonle Sap Lake and visit unique villages with gardens, market, and restaurants all floating on water.

Day 18: Phnom Penh

This morning, you will take a Phnom Penh city tour to The Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Wat Ounalom and Central Market. Watch the royal dance rehearsal by the Apsara Arts Association while having lunch then discover the place where journalists camped on the eve of the Khmer Rouge takeover, followed by a visit to the ghostly building. Later on, continue to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime before heading to Choeung Ek Killing Field to learn about the atrocities that took place here. To end your journey today, you will have a chance to taste some Khmer snacks while learning about the somber Cambodian history.

Please note that customers must book at least 90 days prior to departure to ensure your desired travel date and time.

Deposit Information

  • A deposit of NZD99 per person upon booking to secure your travel date (non-refundable after 48 hours of booking for any reason).
  • Final Payment is due at least 60 days prior to departure. Once this payment is made, any prior payment is strictly non-refundable.
  • If the Final Payment is not completed by the due date, your booking will be cancelled and all prior payments are strictly non-refundable.
  • Invoices will be sent to you through Email, please take responsibility to ensure payment are made on time.

Airline

  • One return economy airfare with Vietnam Airlines is supplied per voucher (including 1 x 30 kg checked baggage and 7 kg hand baggage per passenger).
  • Internal airfare with Vietnam Airlines.
  • Customers must send us the electrical copy of passport by scanning or taking the first page of your passport. By this way, we could secure the accuracy of your personal information to make proper reservation for you.
  • The airfare is non-refundable at all times.

Flights

  • Flight itineraries will be provided only 30 days prior to departure. If you book our tour packages within 30 days, your flight itinerary will be provided within 7 days.
  • Airline schedule may change or cancel before the itinerary and it is beyond our control. We will try utmost to assist our customers, however, the customers are also responsible for reviewing your flight schedule prior to the departure. Moreover, you can contact your Travel Insurance provider to check whether you are covered by your policy.

Arriving early/Extending your trip: NZD165 per person for trip extension or early arrivals. If you wish to extend your trip, please note in your Booking Form then we will provide quotations for you. The fee above is just administrative only, no service included.
